Transcodium aims to provide first-run, decentralized peer-to-peer media to transcribe, edit and distribute platforms with quality and reliable computing power at very affordable prices.
This will create a global market for users, willing to rent their idle machines for employment (miners). Furthermore, at the end of the transcode process, the worker (processor) will be provided with TNS tokens that can be redeemed in any currency or may be sold to customers (originators) requiring this token to be used on our platform.
Transcodium will handle all 3P's (Privacy, Price, and Power Processing) in an example, there will be no limit to how much Transcodium processing power will generate from its network. The transcodium network will be available to its target customers at a lower price than the current market price.
Transcodium's unique algorithm will allow the conversion of media files at supersonic speed by splitting large media files into very small pieces and then encrypted, compressed and sent to workers (inactive devices) for processing. Because of the lightness of each part, this task will be transferred and processed at a very fast speed, even a smartphone can process it. Token will be rewarded for every worker who completes his job before the allocated deadline.
Issues Identified
With the current cloud transcoding platform, the following issues and limitations are identified:
The Cloud transcoding platform is too expensive and scares the beginners, who need their services. Existing companies must spend more than half their revenue just to process these media files, which is not encouraging.
Long processing time due to hardware limitations. Cloud transcoding platforms have hardware hardware limits, therefore, all files to be processed are queued up until processing time, causing frustration at the customer's side waiting for processing.
Due to the central nature of the platform, shutting down or termination of the server can lead to the overall failure of the transcoding process to waste time, money and resources.
Most transcoding platforms are limited to media file formats, making it very difficult to convert other formats such as images and document formats.
SOLUTION FOR PROBLEM FITTINGS
Here is the proposed solution to the above problem:
Blockchain and decentralized technology models enable the provision of cheaper and reliable alternatives to cloud transcoding.
Due to unlimited processing power, all thanks to the workers, the files will be transcoded in very fast speed, eliminating the long queue and waiting time.
Single transcode requests will be processed by multiple nodes and workers, so termination of one node or worker will have no effect on the process, making it more efficient and time-saving.
Transcoding is not just limited to audio and video only, but also other file formats such as pictures and documents.
